Specializations and Services

In addition to a full range of general care Dr. Gerber provides gynecological services (including pap testing), Escarotic treatment (an alternative to LEEP for certain types of cervical dysplasia), conventional and functional lab testing (for hormones, food allergies, microflora, neurotransmitters and more), bio-identical hormone therapy, vitamin injections, individualized weight loss programs, detox programs, and acute care in-office treatments.

Along with primary and acute care, Dr. Gerber specializes in:

  • Women's health

  • Pediatrics and adolescent health

  • Fertility

  • Pregnancy and postpartum health

Because of restrictions in California law, Naturopathic Doctors in CA are not able to provide some important pediatric services, such as:  administration of vaccines, admitting to a hospital, and prescribing most pharmaceutical drugs.  Because of these restrictions, Dr. Gerber works with patients and families to find access to these services via an MD pediatrician.
